RISE AGAINST NOT AWARE OF CHARTS

Rise Against has gotten one of their most favorable chart positions with “Swing Life Away,” but the band doesn’t pay attention too much to the day-to-day goings on with the charts. The song is at Number 11 on the Alternative Chart according to music industry magazine Radio & Records. The song is the latest one from the album, Siren Song Of The Counter Culture.

Guitarist Chris Chasse with vocalist Tim Mcllrath said that they only hear about how well they’re doing by checking e-mail sent by their manager.

“We don’t really follow ’em. We get e-mails from our manager and what not and I’ll check ’em out once in a while, but usually we get random ones, ‘Hey you’re Number 27 on this chart,’ We’re like, ‘That’s cool. Sweet. Thanks!'”

Rise Against has one last date on their U.S. tour, a September 24 engagement in Salt Lake City. The band then heads overseas to participate in the Taste Of Chaos tour with The Used and Killswitch Engage.
