Cash Money Records president Lil’ Wayne will release his new album, Tha Carter II, on December 6th. The set will also be available in a 2 CD deluxe edition which will include chopped & screwed versions of “Go DJ,” “Tha Block Is Hot,” “Get Off The Corner” and “500 Degreez.”

The rapper recently released a new single and video “Fireman.” He explained how important it was for him to oversee his videos. Lil Wayne said,

“You know what I’m sayin’? When you let somebody else do you video, it’s they vision. That’s all good for what I did before in the past, 500 Degrees, The Block Is Hot, I was a artist. But now I’m my own artist, you know what I’m sayin’? So it’s like if I put my own album out, my music is more personal so therefore I don’t want nobody else overseeing my views.”

The rapper will be hitting the road as part of the Georgia Power tour which also features T.I. and Young Jeezy later this week.
