DALLAS AUSTIN TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM UNDER NEW FORMAT

Super-producer Dallas Austin has been hard at work onhis first solo album for over a year. The process was briefly interrupted when the producer was jailed in Dubai for three months on drug charges last year. Austin was eventually freed after pleading guilty and receiving a pardon.rn

Austin is excited about the new album because it will be one of the first release on a new format that will not only allow you to listen to the entire album but watch it. The producer explained,

“I did an album called ‘* Days A Weekend,’ and it’s the first new format called CDA albums where you record the album but then you take it out and you can watch it in a DVD player and watch the album. I’ve been working on it now for about I guess about a year so I release it this year. It’s interesting because it’s just a new way for me to do records. It stops the whole like one song being important on your record to the whole album being important. And it gives people a whole project to focus on.”

Austin has worked with Monica, Whitney Houston, TLC, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and others in the past.rn
