ROLLING STONES KEEP FRESH FOR U.S. TOUR

Ron Wood, guitarist for The Rolling Stones and notable solo artists and painter, tied the knot on Friday in front of some famous friends, details here!

The Rolling Stones kicked off their worldwide tour last week in Boston, and they’re currently cruising through the rest of the U.S., hitting Detroit, Michigan tonight (August 31).

For those who have seen Mick, Keith, Ronnie, and Charlie before, this stage set-up is the best ever, according to the band. Rolling Stones vocalist Mick Jagger hyped up the live show.

“This time we’ll have new songs, and I think it’s very important to keep…you know new things and you’re still vibrant, you still have things to say, and I think the tours themselves are events. The staging is always interesting.”

Stones guitarist Keith Richards said he still gets amped up for live performances.

“Do I feel excited? The sense of anticipation. Do I have a feeling that I’m a tiger and a man’s about to open a cage and let me out. That’s the way I feel about it.”

The Rolling Stones will be hitting both arenas and stadiums this time around, and the world tour is currently mapped out through March of 2006 with more dates to come.
