Chingy’s new album, Hood Star, is expected to hit stores early next year. The lead single from the album is “Nike Airs & Crispy White Tees.”

“My last album, Powerballin’, was about me coming from nothing to something. This album is about me being something and remembering where I came from. I’m still keeping it party but its more serious topics on there too. So it’s a good album to look forward to.”
